St. Chad's
Regular services are no longer held at St Chad's building, but it is available to book for Life Event services and retreat days.
St. Chad's
building
St Chad's Church, 'the jewel of the Vale', lies in the secluded and peaceful setting of historic Pleasley Vale
Set as it is next to the River Meden, often the only sounds you hear are the birds and the river bubbling by, making it the perfect place for a refreshing and energizing retreat

In good weather (or bring your wellies) there is direct access to the foot path that runs alongside the River Meden

The building is welcoming and fascinating. Reflecting its history the whole inside is wooden clad. There are Stations of the Cross around the walls of the Nave and at the east end there is a colourful, ornately hand painted Sanctuary
Facilities
available
St Chad's Nave will seat around 60, and has chairs which can be arranged within the space

To the left through the choir stalls is a Kitchenette and toilet. To the right there is a Vestry area with mobility access ramps to the South door which gives access to the choir stalls and toilet
Unfortunately the current configuration does not allow for wheelchair access to the toilet
