Turner Hall

The Turner Hall was first opened in 1908 and is still the hub of the community with all the facilities available for hire

The Turner hall is a spacious venue, newly decorated, and well lit with large windows and smart blinds allowing plenty of natural light or closed blinds for privacy

With accessible toilets near the entrance (which also contain baby change facilities) and a ramped entrance it is accessible to all

The Turner Hall has its own car park with disabled spaces located directly in front of the ramped access.

Rooms available for hire include the main hall, the lounge and a well equipped kitchenette. See below for more detail. Dependent upon availability both rooms can be let together should you wish

The facility also has a large field with an orchard at the bottom, this is directly below the car park

So if you are looking to hold an event with indoor and outdoor activities …. Look no further!!!
Our facility caters for it all

The
Main hall

The main hall, the large room, consists of a stage and a large spacious dance floor and a small kitchenette with sink, urn for making hot drinks, microwave and a small fridge, which is accessible via the foyer but is operational to the hall via a hatch.

This room is big enough to hold a bouncy castle, but please enquire further about this as we need to approve the supplier and their insurance.

Rate: £20 per hour

The
Lounge

The lounge, the smaller room, is carpeted and provides a more cosy atmosphere for meetings and wakes.

This room also has a sink and an urn for making hot drinks, although this is a kitchen unit in the room itself.

Rate: £14 per hour

You can now hire BOTH rooms, the Main Hall and the Lounge, for the whole day and evening, until 11:30PM, on SATURDAYS.

Our caretaker will set up chairs and tables for you, if you provide the layout wanted.

ONLY £200, £100 bond is required.
